NEURAL HYDRODISSECTION

Nerves normally glide through the muscles and soft tissue with movements.  If injuries or repetitive stress occur, the nerves can get "stuck" and the tissue does not allow the normal motion. Pain and/or altered sensations can develop.

A treatment for the entraped nerve (stuck) is ultrasound guided percutaneous hydro-neuroplasty (Sean Mulvaney, MD).  This is the use of sound waves (ultrasound) to visualize the nerve and needle.  The needle is placed next to the nerve and a dilute solution of anesthestic is injected to mechanically free it from the surrounding tissues.

Due to her untimely passing from brain cancer, we have set up a trust fund for her two children, Niles and Nylah. Please make your checks payable to: The YANN Trust (Yasmin Algarin Niles Nylah), 197 Ridgedale Ave., Suite 210, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.
